The Mansfield Independent School District is a destination district, serving more than 35,600 student throughout Mansfield, Arlington, Grand Prairie, Burleson, Fort Worth, Venus, Alvarado and Kennedale.

The District has a pre-kindergarten center, 23 elementary schools, six intermediate schools, a STEM academy, six middle schools, five traditional high schools, a high school for only upperclassmen, an alternative education center an early college high school. Mansfield ISD believe that providing the best education to MISD students is a collaborative effort and the District values it positive relationship with the community. MISD offers various opportunities for the community to engage through it's Partners In Education Program including volunteering, mentoring, and partnering with schools, departments, and the District as a whole.
